II.    Rights of the Data Subject
As user of this website and as data subject to the extent that we process your personal data when you visit this website (such processing to be described below more in detail) you have the right

  • under Article 15 GDPR, to request information as to whether and which of your personal data we process, as well as further information about the objective and scope of the processing, and to request copies of the data;
  • under Article 16 GDPR, to request the immediate rectification of inaccuracies or gaps in your personal data stored with us;
  • under Article 17 GDPR, to request the deletion of your personal data stored with us or, alternatively, to the extent further processing is necessary pursuant to Article 17 paragraph 3 GDPR, to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data under Article 18 GDPR;
  • under Article 20 GDPR, to receive your personal data that you provided to us in a structured, common and machine-readable format, and to request transmission to another data controller;
  • under Article 7 paragraph 3 GDPR, to revoke your consent granted to us. This will result in our no longer being able to process the data in the future based on this consent, and
  • under Article 77 GDPR, to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. As a rule, you may contact the supervisory authority for your usual residence or workplace or for our offices.

Furthermore, pursuant to Article 19 GDPR, the Provider is obliged to notify all recipients to whom the Provider has disclosed your personal data of any rectification or deletion or restriction on the processing of your personal data carried out in accordance with Article 16, Article 17 paragraph 1 or Article 18 GDPR, unless this proves impossible or involves disproportionate efforts. Notwithstanding the latter you have the right to request information about these recipients.

Right of objection 

Provided your personal data are processed on the basis of legitimate interests in accordance with Article 6 paragraph 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR, you have the right, under Article 21 paragraph 1 GDPR, to object to the processing of your personal data in the future on grounds relating to your particular situation. Under Article 21 paragraph 2 GDPR, you also have a general right to object where your personal data are processed for direct marketing purposes. We do not process your personal data for direct marketing purposes.

III.    Information on Data Processing
Your personal data which are processed when you visit our website are deleted or blocked, as soon as the purpose of storage has been met, provided that there are no statutory retention obligations to the contrary and further provided that no subsequent statements are made to the contrary in relation to any specific procedure.

Server Data

For technical reasons, and in particular to ensure a safe and stable website, data – so-called “server logfiles” – are transferred from your web browser to ours, respectively to our webspace provider. With these so-called server logfiles, the type and version of your web browser, operating system, the website from which you transferred to ours (“referrer URL”), the pages on our website which you visit, date and time of the visit and the IP address of the device from which you visited our website are collected, among other things.

These data will be stored temporarily, however, not together with other data of you. We have asked that our webspace provider collects and stores these server logfiles only in anonymized form. To the extent that the data stored nonetheless contain your personal data, storage is on the basis of Article 6 paragraph 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest to be served by the storage is the improvement, stability, functionality and safety of our website.

The data will be deleted no later than 15 days after collection, unless longer retention is required as legal evidence. If the latter applies, the data shall be excluded from deletion in full or in part, and shall only be deleted without undue delay after final clarification.

Cookies

In order to set up this website we have used the “WordPress” system, and we have implemented certain functions such as the option to switch to another language via so-called “plug-ins”. By operation of WordPress and the above-mentioned plug-ins cookies are activated when you visit our website. Cookies are small text files or other storage technology that your web browser automatically creates and stores on your end device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) when you visit our website. By means of these cookies certain information is processed such as your web browser data, data as to where your end device is located, your IP address or which pages on our website you have already visited. If you visit our website again via the same end device, your prior visit and the adjustments you had made are automatically recognized, so that you do not have to reenter them.

Our legitimate interest served by the operation of these cookies resides in the improvement of the functionality of our website. The legal basis is Article 6 paragraph 1 lit. f) GDPR.
